Alternative “Flat” design style for apps
Support for an alternative design style for clients who do not want the card view, which allows us to be more flexible in matching client styles within the product

Tab view for topics in the live feed
Support for topics to be displayed as tabs in the feed view. The user can then swipe between topics on the feed view or tap a tab to move to that feed. The Topic selector and personalisation can still be included in this view, or moved to settings if preferred

Nav bar behaviour on article view
We have added the option for the nav bar to disappear as the user reads an article, so that when they scroll down the page to read the nav bars will gracefully disappear, and return when the page is tapped or the user moves to the next article.

Ability to set a reading preference for apps that have both Edition and Live news
For clients who have both an Edition and Live experience within a single app, the end-user can now select their reading preference so that the selected view appears as the initial page on launch

Support for Ad Tracking Transparency which is a requirement for apps now on iOS
If your app includes third-party tracking SDKs it is now a requirement to include the App Tracking Transparency framework and prompt the user to ask if they are willing to allow the app to track them. We have integrated this with Firebase so that a “warm-up” message can be shown ahead of the iOS modal

Support for the Adobe Experience SDK
For clients who use Adobe for analytics or push messaging we now have support for the Adobe Experience SDK

Support for consent management platform scripts on the PWA
We can now support Consent Management Platforms which request cookie access for users on the web. However, this is likely to require custom development work for each client due to analytics tracking and we don’t yet have a preferred vendor to work within the product
